TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Drive to Semliki Wildlife Reserve
After breakfast, head to Semliki. The drive will take you down the eastern side of Lake Albert. The park is known for its night game drive that give you a good view of the nocturnal mammals like the white tailed mongoose and slender mongoose, standard and pennant winged nightjars, cats, hyenas, leopards and many more. Overnight at Semliki safari Lodge/Kanyankyu Ecological site (FB)

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking
Have a morning breakfast and later head to the beautiful gallery rainforest to carry out chimpanzee tracking. These are usually tracked at dawn or dusk due to the fact that the chimpanzees tend to disappear in the middle of the day. You will also carry out the birding activity in the forest. You will see different birds such as spotted-breasted ibis, Congo serpent eagle, chestnut-flanked goshawk, red-thighed sparrow hawk, long-tailed hawk, Hartlaub’s duck, Nkulengu rail, black-throated coucal, chestnut owlet, Bates’s nightjar, black-wattled hornbill, red-rumped tinker bird and Zenker’s honey guide. Return to the lodge and have a relaxation. Overnight at Semliki safari Lodge/Kanyankyu Ecological site (FB)

Day 3: Return to Kampala
In the morning following breakfast you will drive back to Kampala to reach in the evening.
