There are basically two things to keep in mind while planning your Mountain Gorilla tracking experience:
A gorilla tracking permit costs $600 USD only this is an awesome price compared to Rwanda whose price is $750 USD and our visa policies are friendly unlike DRC that has complex visa details and unfriendly political climate. Only 8 people per group are allowed to track every day in the listed places in Bwindi impenetrable national park Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo, or Rushaga, this is done in order to give these animals convenient and comfortable with human presence with no insecurities because if provoked they can be harmful. It takes you approximately 8-9hours from the airport and this process allows you the opportunity to see the country-side and the beautiful country with its amazing culture and people on your way to the National Park. After spending the night your next day will be about gorillas, you arrive at the briefing area at 8:00am for a brief orientation were you are given a set of rules to follow while tracking and after that you begin to trek into the jungle
